Hi there,
Lots of young people use our website for all kinds of different reasons like:
There is a button which says 'hide page' on the side of every page on our website. You can click on this at any time and it will open up the Google homepage. So this is good to remember if you're ever looking at something on our website which you don't want anyone else to know about.
You can also check out our Cover your tracks page if youre worried about people finding out about you using the website in future.
If theres a problem on your mind youd like to talk through with an adult, then your teacher knowing youve been on our website might be a good place to start. Remember though that if you dont want them to know youve been here, you dont have to say.
Sometimes it can be more worrying when you dont know what someone plans to do. Talking to the teacher about them knowing and whether they plan to tell anyone else about that might help you to feel better once you know for sure what theyre going to do.
If you do decide to ask them what they are going to do, maybe think through first what you might say if they ask you any questions about it, so that you feel prepared.
You can always talk this through with a ChildLine counsellor. Were a confidential service and you can read more about our confidentiality promise here.
Take care,
Sam

You can ask me about anything you want, there's nothing too big or small. I read every single letter but I can only answer a few each week. My replies are published here on my page.
