i am finding it hard at school because there is this boy and he is always threatening me about this letter that me and my mate wrote so now he is saying that if I don't do what he says he will show everyone and get ME in loads of trouble when it was a joke and he knew it

No one has the right to threaten you or to try to get you into trouble. This boy has no right to try to get you to do what he wants.
First of all I want you to know that what this boy is doing is wrong. However, I understand that you feel stuck as you wrote the letter as a joke but hes now using it to threaten you and to make things at school difficult for you.
It would be a good idea to talk to a member of staff at school about the threats. Its likely that the letter will have to be explained as well but that would just be between you, the member of staff and this boy. Doing this can seem daunting at first but you could explain to staff that the letter was a joke and it has just got out of control because of this other boy.
However, it sounds like if you dont talk to someone then the threats will continue. If this boy does show a lot of other people the letter, that sounds like it could get you into more trouble too. It might be an idea to remind him that what you wrote in the letter was a joke.

They can also help you think about what you might want to say if you talk to a member of staff at school.
