Sam,

When I Walk home from High school people laugh at me and I'm not sure why.
I know i'm not the best at everything but I don't know why they feel happy in the feel of us sad,
Please help :)
Hi there,
Im really pleased youve been brave enough to write to me as it sounds like youre feeling sad and having trouble trying to make sense of whats happening.
I can hear that you cant make sense of whats happening but you shouldnt have to. I want you to know that whats happening to you is wrong. No one has the right to hurt you physically or emotionally and because it keeps happening, it counts as bullying. Although youre on your walk home, it is a school related incident so you can talk to someone at school about it to help make it stop.
Maybe you could think about the staff who work at the school to see if theres someone you feel you could talk to and get support from. It doesnt have to be a teacher, any member of staff should listen and support you with this. You could take a look at our bullying page for more information and advice. I think you might also find the message boards useful as you can see what other young people in a similar situation have done to get help and support.
Youre not on your own with this. Lots of young people contact ChildLine about bullying and the counsellors are there to support you. You might find it really useful to talk it through with one of them. They can help you work out who you could talk to, what you might want to say to them and maybe even work out if theres anything different you could do to help the situation. You can call for free on 0800 1111, log on for a 1-2-1 chat, or send an email once youve set up an account.
Take care,
Sam

You can ask me about anything you want, there's nothing too big or small. I read every single letter but I can only answer a few each week. My replies are published here on my page.
